Is This Real?

A benefit for Kids Help Phone

The Fizzgigs team up with other Canadian punk rock artists to cover the 1980 Wipers song "Is This Real?" and create social connection options for the kids in what may be the weirdest school year yet.

Between the impact of COVID-19 and the prospect of growing up in a world where systemic racism is an undeniable reality, the kids have more questions, anxieties, pressures, and problems these days.

For many, home is not a safe place, the outside world doesn’t feel like a safe place, and isolation from their social groups has amplified the normal challenges of growing up.

Together, we are raising funds because we want to spark kids' courage to ask for help and ensure they get the help they need through Kids Help Phone.
